We are currently expanding our Brand Management team and are seeking a full-time Senior Brand Director to join our team. At The Working Assembly, members of the Brand Management team are responsible for managing projects, driving timelines, serving as a strategic thought leader to our clients, and cultivating strong working relationships across the internal and client teams alike.

As a Senior Brand Director, you will be responsible for leading key pieces of business, and holistically managing your own projects from start-to-finish. The ideal candidate has experience working with cross-functional agency teams through the advertising, creative development, and production processes — and has an appetite to further their experience managing brand design projects.

Key Characteristics

• 8-12 years of experience within an advertising, design, or marketing agency
• Demonstrate confidence, authority and solid decision making as the agency’s leadership voice
• Foster a healthy, open work environment that balances personal and creative growth
• Ability to build and manage strong relationships with senior clients
• Experience managing, mentoring, and growing teams internally
• Ability to both sustain current business and grow current and new client business
  

Key Responsibilities

• Brand Management
  • Overseeing the project management of the account and partnering with designers and strategists to ensure smooth delivery
  • Troubleshooting where necessary and having the confidence and authority to redirect projects if they are beginning to go off track
  • Effectively managing project resourcing to ensure that projects are properly staffed with the appropriate skill sets
• Client Partnership
  • Experience managing multiple complex client relationships at one time
  • Develop and monitor scopes and burn reports to ensure appropriate team burn rate and agency profitability
• Team Collaboration
  • Communicate proactively with management on project workflows, and provide strategic point of view on any issues
  • Ability to creatively problem solve to fix any potential issues
  • Work with Strategy to transform knowledge of client business objectives, internal and competitive opportunities, and consumer insights into actionable marketing communications strategies and tactics
  • Provide oversight of agency resourcing to ensure projects are running as efficiently as possible
• Agency Development
  • Takes on formal oversight roles of Senior Brand Manager, Brand Manager, Associate Brand Manager and interns, contributing to their growth and development
  • Contribute to hiring and growth of brand team
  • Support in scope writing and new business development

Growth Opportunities

• Recognize and seize opportunities to contribute to agency new business efforts/RFPs
• Lead creation of proposals for new work for new and existing clients
• Continuing to foster relationships with senior clients
• Contribute to the growth of TWA’s business, with both new and existing clients
• Develop and improve upon internal processes, contributing to smoother running of agency operations

Our Copy team is instrumental in helping each brand and client become the best versions of themselves, finding their right tone of voice and distilling their unique brand story. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, writing both internal and external facing language — developing verbal identities and TOV guidelines, crafting branded copy, concepting advertising campaigns, developing scripts, social media, etc.

Qualifications

• Must have prior experience in an advertising agency or similar firm
• Stellar strategic thinking, writing, and editing skills with strong attention to detail

We are currently seeking a full time Motion Designer to join our creative team. At The Working Assembly, you'll get to participate in the end-to-end creative process, aligning with strategy and brand to develop motion design concepts. You will develop storyboards, animations and video content using 2D animation software and editing software. This role will primarily focus on producing visually stunning and engaging motion graphics for social media. You'll be working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, creative and fun environment.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with motion designers and brand designer on projects from initial conception through final production
• Showing great attention to detail
• Creating beautifully crafted animation and video content
• Collaborating with teams for feedback
• Two (2) years of experience in a branding or creative agency
• Templatizing and optimizing animation workflows over high volume animation asks

Qualifications

• Reel that demonstrates motion design capabilities (please send over with your application)

• Comfortable in Adobe CC including After Effects and Premiere
